Trip though Staunton Virginia

Today we spent the day in Staunton, Virginia. This beautiful town nestled in the heart of Virginia is hidden in the upper part of Virginia and is definitely worth the visit. This town has plenty to do, and we only scratched the surface of the things in the area. The first thing we did was go to Crucible Coffee Roasters at the bottom of the town. We got honey lavender iced lattes, cookies and cream, and an earl gray macaroon. The lattes were terrific, and the flavors were incredible. The flavors were all made in-house, and the coffee grounds were roasted there. This was a great place to start the trip; next, we walked around. We walked up the street to Sunspots Studio. It was a great place to spend some time. Here they taught you how to blow glass and what glass does in different areas. He showed us how to build glass heart ornaments and cups. He explained the process of making glass art, how to add colors and make cups and textures, and plenty more. Afterward, we spent some time walking around the Wharf District, a historic area with an old train station with shops throughout the building parts. We could walk around the top of the train station on a bridge connecting the trails. Afterward, we walked into Staunton's Newtown and Beverly district, where we found this fantastic bakery and oil shop. The bakery was all one hundred percent gluten-free. They had more delicious macaroons and lemon bars. Finally, we had to leave. Staunton is a beautiful town with great coffee. I recommend going here if you are in the area. For a town that feels small, there are so many things to do.
